In a day of high energy and provoking conversations, students and community members gathered at Georgia State University for the launch of the Free Democracy Tour presented by the Millennial Civil Rights Campaign. Participants received insight on the process of democracy - what it is and how to successfully engage leading up to the 2020 election cycle. Guest speakers included: James Woodall (President, Georgia NAACP), Genny Castillo (COO, The Blue Institute), Jon Ossoff (Candidate for US Senate), and Taos Wynn (President, Millennial Civil Rights Campaign). Partners of the event included New Georgia Project, NAACP College Division, and Fair Fight Action.
